Character ProStix character sessions are accessed on the ProStix server (Production & DR) by using a third party terminal emulation package, such a Century TinyTerm, Anzio, James River ICE, or many other compatible packages. If your [AccessMethod] has been defined as Secondary Logon, you need to consult your terminal emulation package manuals, or get help from your local tech support, and save a secondary configuration file with the IP address of your DR server. You would then add a desktop shortcut to run your terminal emulator using this new configuration file.  GUI To setup access to the DR server when your [AccessMethod] is Secondary Logon, follow these steps: 1. Select your Prostix-Workbench Icon 2. Click the Setup Configuration button 3. On the Identify Server page, you should see your Production server's name or its IP address listed in the Netbios Name or IP Address field. Click the Folder icon to edit this field. An Edit IP Addresses window opens which looks like a notepad session. 4. Type in either the DR servers name or its IP address (depending on your name resolution mechanism used on your network), followed by colon 22, indicating the SSH port number to connect on; for example: prostix-drp:22 5. Save & close this window Once this setup has been done, to log onto the DR server, you would: 1. select your Prostix-Workbench icon 2. select the Setup Configuration button 3. use the drop-down arrow to select the DR server 4. click OK, then click Log On
