The reorder algorithm is a mathematical equation that looks at stocking levels for a product and calculates a suggested reorder quantity at a certain point in time so that required stocking levels are maintained.  Refer to link  Stock Re-Ordering Algorithm - CPF  in the   Stock Re-Order Algorithm/Data Setup  within the  Purchasing and Receipting User Guide  for further information.
