This topic explains how to setup your system to use future pricing.  Codes/Characters The Future Price program is controlled by the 'FeatureFUT' code, please contact Sterland Computing for the value of this code.  Flags/Values Three flags control the use of future prices in Purchase Order processing and Sales Order processing.  OrdFPrice 'OrdFPrice' allows the use of future prices to be used for future Orders, Quotes and Jobs.  InvFPrice 'InvFPrice' allows the use of future prices to be used for future Purchase Orders.  InvAFPDCon 'InvAFPDCon' allows the following:  Integers OrdDelDTol An Integer labeled 'OrdDelDTol' allows the user to specify the number of Tolerance days. When releasing future dated orders the number of tolerance days is compared to the number of days between the release date and the order line delivery date for each future priced product on the order. If that comparison is within the tolerance days then the order will not be re-priced; but if it is outside the tolerance days, then the future priced products concerned will get re-priced to current prices.  The value for this integer defaults to 2, however the user may specify the number of days required via the <F7> key.  Flags The following flags are checked to determine which future price should be applied to future dated Purchase Orders, Quotes, Sales Orders and Jobs:  InvAFPDSup – If set to 'yes' then future supplier costs are considered for Purchase Orders. Future supplier costs may also be used to work out a future sell price on Quotes, Sales Orders and Jobs, but only if the system flags 'InvReset' and/or 'InvResetB' are set to 'yes'.   InvAFPDBrn – If set to 'yes' then future branch cost and sell prices may be considered for Purchase Orders, Quotes, Sales Orders and Jobs in accordance with the future price hierarchy.  InvAFPDStd – If set to 'yes' then future standard cost and sell prices may be considered for Purchase Orders, Quotes, Sales Orders and Jobs in accordance with the future price hierarchy.  InvAFPDDsc – If set to 'yes' then future discount group pricing and future discount module pricing may be considered when keying Quotes, Sales Orders and Jobs.  InvAFPDCon - If set to 'yes' then future contract prices are applied to Quotes, Sales Orders and Jobs.
