To maintain Manufacturing Cost Profiles, perform the following: 1. From the  ProStix Main Menu  select  'Inventory Management'  then  'Factory Order Processing'  then  'Manufacturing Cost Profiles'. 2. You are then presented with a list of Manufacturing Cost Profiles that have previously been defined. Manufacturing Profile Header Maintenance  3. To add a new Manufacturing Cost Profile, select <F6> and complete the following fields: 4. To Change a Manufacturing Cost Profile, highlight the profile to be changed and press/click <F7>. You are then able to change the  Description . Type the change required and press/click <F1> to save. 5. To Delete a Manufacturing Cost Profile, highlight the profile to be deleted and press/click <F5>. Press/click <F5> to confirm or <F4> to deny. Source Product Maintenance  6. To Maintain the Source Products of a Manufacturing Cost Profile, highlight the profile and press/click <F8>. 7. You are presented with a list of products that have already been added to the profile. 8. To Add a Product to a Profile press/click <F6>. Type the product code or <F3> to search. Type the  Quantity  and press/click <F1> to save. 9. To Change the Quantity of a product on a profile, highlight the product and press/click <F7>. Type the change to the quantity and press/click <F1>. 10. To Delete a Product from a Profile, highlight the product and press/click <F5>. Press/click <F5> to confirm or <F4> to deny.  Component Maintenance   11. To Maintain the Components of a Manufacturing Cost Profile, highlight the profile and press/click <F9>. 12. You are presented with a list of components in sequence. The  Source Cost  and any  Future  cost of the source product(s) are displayed at the top of the screen. Details of produced products attached to the manufacturing profile are displayed at the bottom of the screen. To scroll through the list of produced products, press the <Right-Arrow> key. Press the <Left-Arrow> key to return. To attach products to the profile please see the topic  Assign a Manufacturing Profile to a Product. 13. To add a component, press/click <F6> and type the required information into the following fields:   After pressing/clicking <F1>, then <F4> to exit add mode, the description, unit of measure and cost is displayed. 14. To Change the sequence of a component, highlight the component and press/click <F7>. Type the new sequence number and press/click <F1> to save. 15. To Delete a Component, highlight the component and press/click <F5>. Press/click <F5> again to confirm or <F4> to deny.  16. If Produced Products have been added to the Costing profile, then the  New Cost  and, if applicable,  Future  cost is updated for the products as the components are maintained.
