To close a Factory Work Order (FWO), perform the following:  1. From the  ProStix Main Menu  select  'Inventory Management'  then  'Factory Order Processing'  then  'Factory Order Maintenance'. 2. Type the number of the FWO you require or <F3> to search. 3. From the options menu on the right side of the screen, select the option, 'Close Order'. 4. The status of the FWO is changed to 'Completed' and you are given a confirmation message to that effect. 5. The system clears the costs from the Work In Progress (WIP) General ledger accounts of each Work Station. It then reads through the transactions and sum the cost of stock used plus time used less stock produced and post this value to the WIP and wastage accounts.
