A work centre model is like a standard Production Schedule that is frequently used for jobs of the same (or similar) nature. Once defined, a work centre model may be copied when creating a new job.  You may then make any required adjustments to the schedule. If a job materials model is created in the Sales Order module, a work centre model header is also created for the job.  Both models (that is, the job or material model and work centre model) are of the same name. The production scheduling details for this work centre model must be maintained to suit the job materials model order details. After this information has been maintained, you may create a job by copying from a Job Model.  This copies both the job materials model and the linked work centre model details to the new job with the information adjusted to suit each individual job. To create and maintain Work Centre Models, perform the following: 1. From the  ProStix Main Menu  select 'Production Scheduling' then  'File Maintenance ' then 'Work Centre Models' . 2.
