Pre-requisite:   A Hot Fix file has been saved into your  /prostix/dmp  directory, either by Sterland or by yourself. Sterland recommends that all Hot Fixes are tested in the  Demo  environment before installing into  Live . QUESTION: How do I install Hot Fixes on Linux and Unix Sites? ANSWER: To install the Hot Fix into your Demo environment, perform the following:  1. Log in to your ProStix server and go to a Unix prompt (Via Promenu option 10), then type ' su ', and enter your root password. 2. To Untar and compile into DEMO, type the following commands in sequence, then press <enter>: cd /prostix/demo/xcode tar xvf /prostix/dmp/<enter file name>. For example, tar xvf /prostix/dmp/12345.tar startdemrx 3. Select <F1> to be presented with the following screen, then select <F1> to start the compile: 4. Select <F4>. When the 'Tables in schema area' screen appears, select <F4> again. This page is not relevant. 5. Select <enter> to view the compile log. A clean compile should show 0 errors and 0 warnings as per the screenshot below. If there are errors report them to  Sterland Support . 6. This completes the installation of the Hot Fix into Demo. To install the Hot Fix into your Live environment, perform the following:  1. Log in to your ProStix server and go to a Unix prompt (Via Promenu option 10), then type ' su ', and enter your root password. 2.
