As new products are added to the branch inventory, if particular customers are expected to be purchasing these products at a price below the standard selling price, it is also necessary to add these products to any customer  special pricing  contracts which may exist.  This is particularly applicable if a new product is price sensitive and requires a discounted price setting up for the customer. As product ranges are discontinued, also as means of keeping customer special pricing maintained, old products should be removed from pricing contracts which are no longer applicable.
