The  Calculate Interest on Deposits  option a pplies interest payments on the deposits of inactive customers.   If customers have been inactive for less than a year then the interest is reduced by the percentage of the year that the customer was active. To  apply interest payments on the deposits of inactive customers , perform the following: 1.  From the  ProStix Main Menu  select ' Shareholder Register ' then  'Inactive Member Processing'  then  'Calculate Interest on Dep.' . 2.   The 'Select Company' screen is displayed.  Type the relevant company if applicable, then select <enter>. <F3> Search is available. 3. The 'Customer Shareholder Program' screen is displayed. 4.  Type the shareholder program name, then select <enter>. <F3> Search is available. 5. The 'Share Interest Report/Update' screen is displayed.  Refer to the ' Share Interest Report/Update ' collapsible link below for a screenshot and an explanation of the options.
