Terminal Initialisation is performed by selecting the Logon function (accessed on the EFTPOS screen of the Control Panel), or the PINpad will perform an automatic logon if a POS transaction is commenced when the terminal is not logged on. 1. When the Terminal starts Initialisation, the following screen appears: 2. Once the PIN pad has been initialised to the bank, the screen displays a LOGON SUCCESSFUL message. The window stays on the screen until the <OK> button is  pressed, or a time out period has elapsed (usually 8 seconds).
