To accept Payment through EFTPOS for Savings and Cheque Accounts, perform the following: 1. Conduct a sale as normal. 2. Once all of the product and pricing details are correct and you have selected the <F4> key, the End Sale option window displays. 3. Select <Enter> to end the sale and bring up the window that allows you to enter the tender information, then type the exact amount of the sale into the EFTPOS field, then select <Enter>, alternatively the <F5> (EFTPOS) hotkey automatically populates this field with the Sale amount. 4. The Tender screen is now displayed. If the customer requires any cash to be issued with the sale, type the amount in the Cash Out field, then select <Enter>. 5. If the EFTPOS System is not logged onto the bank, the EFTPOS Subsystem performs an automatic logon, then the screen below displays: 6. Once the PIN pad is initialised to the bank, the following screen prompts to ENTER CARD.   7. To continue with the transaction, swipe the card. To cancel the transaction and go back to the tender options, select cancel. If the card cannot be read with the Magnetic stripe reader on the PIN pad, press the <FUNCTION> key on the PIN pad, and enter the card manually. For further information about Manual Card Entry, refer to  Accepting the Payment - Manual Card Entry . 8. After the card has been read, the PIN pad prompts you to 'SELECT ACCOUNT'. 9. Cheque, Savings or Credit may be selected at this stage. If Savings or Cheque is selected, the PIN pad prompts you to 'KEY PIN + Press Enter'.  For further information about Credit Card tender, refer to  Accepting the Payment - Credit Accounts . 10. After the PIN has been entered, the transaction request is sent to the bank for processing. You can no longer cancel the transaction. The PIN pad displays 'PROCESSING NOW'. 11. The following screen appears to advise that the Transaction has been approved. The screen will remain until the <OK> button is pressed, or a time out period has elapsed (usually 8 seconds).   12 . After the Transaction is approved, a POS docket will print for the customer. Details of the EFTPOS transaction are recorded on the Customer POS Docket.
