This procedure explains how to setup Warehouse Stock Re-Ordering parameters for background processing. The Scheduled Warehouse Re-Ordering module allows you to set up Stock Re-Ordering parameters for background processing. The reorder process considers the stock availability and sales of the individual branches that the nominated warehouse services, the lead time and stock min/max values are to come from the central warehouse branch stock data. To setup Warehouse Stock Re-Ordering parameters for background processing, perform  the following: 1. From the  ProStix Main Menu  select  'Purchasing & Receipting'  then  'Stock Re-Ordering'  then  'Scheduled Warehouse Re-Ordering' . 2. The 'Scheduled Re-Ordering Tasks' screen displays all defined warehouse re-order tasks.  Select <F6> to add a new task .   Note : If no re-order tasks exist, you are placed in add mode, enabling you to define a new re-order task.  Enter a  Task Id  and  Description , then select <enter>. 3.  Select the 'Warehouse Re-ordering' parameters you wish to update. Refer to the 'Warehouse Re-ordering  Options ' collapsible link below for a screenshot and an explanation of some of these options. 4. Once the re-order parameters are completed, you are prompted to define the scheduling parameters. 5. When scheduling is complete and the re-order task has been fully defined, you are returned to the list of tasks with the completed task having a status of ' disabled '.  You then need to toggle the status to ' current ' if you wish it to be enabled. 6. The  <F5> (Delete)  function allows you to delete the selected re-order task. 7. The  <F7> (Change)  function allows you to update the re-order task.  When <F7> (Change) is selected, you can change the re-order description, ordering parameters or scheduling parameters. 8.   The  <F8> (Status)  function allows you to toggle the task status between  'disabled'  and  'current' .  Any disabled re-order tasks are not passed from the Task Scheduler to the Job Processor. 9. The  <F12> (Schedule)  function allows you to update the task schedule.
