To refund share balances, perform the following: 1.  From the  ProStix Main Menu  select ' Shareholder Register ' then  'Transaction Processing'  then  'Refund Shares'  then  'Refund Share Balance' . 2. The 'Customer Shareholder Program' screen is displayed. 3.  Type the Shareholder Program name, then select enter. <F3> Search is available.  4. The 'Refund Shares' screen is displayed.   Refer to the 'Refund Shares' collapsible link below for a screenshot and an explanation of these options. 5. As with  Adjust/Transfer shares , the customers details are displayed to the right of the 'Refund Shares' screen. 6.  After you enter the quantity to refund and your password, ProStix prints a share approval form and asks if the customer has signed the form. i. Typing ' Yes ' sets the refund transactions status to 'Pending'. ii. Typing ' No ' sets it to 'Suspended'. 7. Refunding shares credits the Bank account.
