Example 1: Defining Trading Brands In the example below, the  'Brand Maintenance ' option in the miscellaneous tables allows the definition of a brand or (in this example a division of the business) with a code, description and a sequence no. The sequence number allows you to take more control over the order of entries in the list. Example 2: Assigning a Brand to a Branch In the example below, branch maintenance allows the allocation of a brand to a branch. F3 searching on the Brand field will display the list of brands defined (as above) and allow you to select the appropriate brand for this branch.   Example 3: Assigning a Brand to a Customer In the example below, the customer maintenance option  'Trading Brands ' allows the definition of all the brands that this customer trades with. You can define a single brand, multiple brands or no brands . Use the F6 add or F5 delete options to add remove entries. If the customer's home branch has been assigned a brand, this will be loaded against the customer by default. Example 4: Assigning a Brand to a Supplier In the example below, the supplier maintenance option 'Trading Brands' allows the definition of all the brands that this supplier trades with. You can define a single brand, multiple brands or no brands . Use the <F6 (Add) or <F5> (Delete) options to add remove entries. Note: By not assigning any brands this means the supplier is not restricted to any in particular and is available for trading with all brands.
