Example 1: Product in Restricted Status in a Sale at POS If a user attempts to sell a restricted product through point of sale (cash or account sale), then the user is presented with a warning message advising that the product is restricted and can't be sold. The product is then automatically cleared from the sale and the user is returned to the product entry prompt.   Example 2: Product in restricted status when trying to raise a Purchase Order Upon attempting to order the product from a Supplier, the user is advised that the product is not available for purchase. Upon selecting the enter key, the user is then forced to remove the restricted product from the order.   Example 3: Product in Restricted status in a Sale through SOP At Order release, the user is advised that the order contains a restricted product and cannot be released. The product will have to be back-ordered or removed from the sale for the additional items of the sale to be released.
