| <span style="color: #003366">**QUESTION:**</span> | <span style="color: #333333">How is the Stock Valuation calculated in ProStix? Does it take into account Goods in Transit when doing the calculation?</span> |
| <span style="color: #003366">**ANSWER:**</span> | <span style="color: #333333">The Stock Valuation is calculated based on the stock on hand multiplied by the branch cost at the branch in question. Goods in transit that have been released from stock in one branch and are yet to be receipted into stock in another will NOT be included on the Stock Valuation report for either branch. </span><br><span style="color: #333333">To see the which goods are in transit between stores, run the Goods In Transit report as follows:</span><br><span style="color: #333333">1. From the </span>**<span style="color: #333333">ProStix Main Menu</span>**<span style="color: #333333">, select '</span>**<span style="color: #333333">Purchasing and Receipting</span>**<span style="color: #333333">' then '</span>**<span style="color: #333333">Stock Receipt Reports</span>**<span style="color: #333333">' then '</span>**<span style="color: #333333">Goods in Transit Report</span>**<span style="color: #333333">'</span><br><span style="color: #333333">2. Run the report for all stores to see what goods are in transit.</span> |
