Example 1: Search Results The following example shows how searching for a Customer name of 'johns' returns all customers containing the searched text anywhere within their name.  Use the left/right arrow keys to toggle between sorting in customer number or name order. 2. By modifying the search to 'chr joh' the search would be further narrowed down to return only those customers whose names contain both words as shown in the following example.   Example 2: Modifying filters The customer search screen has further filtering options available so that it is possible to filter out unwanted results that would unnecessarily clutter the screen.  To bring up the filter options, select the <F7> Filters key. The filters screen will appear as below.   The filter options for customers are: Example 3: Trading Brands The Trading Brands Filter option allows the customer search to toggle between showing only those customers that trade with divisions of the business that the current branch is in or to show all customers that trade with any division of the business that the current user has access to.  For further information on the purpose, definition and use of the Trading Brands feature refer to the section on  'Trading Brands' .    Example 4: Hidden Accounts The following example shows the hidden accounts based on the Customer Search, available from the 'Credit Info' option of the 'Options' menu. If a customer marked as 'Account Hidden' then by default they will not be seen in the customer search screen. This enables customers to be retained in the customer database without cluttering up the search results screen. For further information on the ability to hide accounts refer to the section  'Hidden Customers' .
