QUESTION: One of our Scheduled Customer Invoice Print tasksfailed overnight and is still failing when we try run it manually. All other tasks have run successfully. ANSWER: To stop this scheduled task from failing , perform the following: 1. Check for which job processor ran the scheduled task (via c/4 then drill down on the task) 2. Check the relevant job processor error log: cd /prostix/live/logs tail -100 job6.err|more 3. If the log shows message "* *  already has a conflicting use. (99) " then proceed to step 4. Otherwise take a screen capture of the error message in the log and forward to support@sterland.com.au  4. Stop the system services: sudo /prostix/live/bat/services.sh stop   Note: if site is not running Linux (e.g AIX) then switch to root user and run /prostix/live/bat/services.sh stop 5. Check for runaway system services using the following command ps -ef|grep live, 6. Kill any runaway live system services that were not stopped in step 4. sudo kill 23637 7. Restart the system services sudo /prostix/live/bat/services.sh start 8.
