QUESTION: I have checked via the Outstanding Sales Orders report and can see a large number of sales orders in the system that are no longer required. Is there an option to remove these orders? How do I mass delete old Sales Orders in ProStix? ANSWER: Please use extreme caution when running this utility. There is no restore option. Once the orders are deleted, they cannot be restored. It is stongly recommended to test running this utility in your Demo or Train test environments first, then check the results. If results are acceptable, then repeat the steps in your Live environment. To mass delete old Sales Orders in ProStix , perform the following: 1. From the Prostix Main Menu select ' System Administration ' then ' Utilities ' then ' Run a Program '. 2. Type in the program name fixorders.p , then select . 3. The "Warning" prompt appears advising "This program will remove sales orders from the data base. Please use with extreme caution. F4 to Cancel" .
