Sterland offers three disaster recovery (DR) options which are available without impacting on the application in any way.  These are termed Hot, Warm and Cold standby. Our strong recommendation is Warm standby.  This is a cost effective and efficient option that provides most of the Hot standby benefits at a fraction of the cost. Please refer to licensing implications below.  Hot and Warm standby utilise the Progress Database After-Imaging feature. This feature is available at no additional cost but because additional data is being stored, there are some (minimal) performance overheads.
