As part of the day-to-day system maintenance in ProStix, it is necessary to periodically purge and/or archive the system of old / obsolete or no longer required data. By purging files on a regular basis, your system remains tidy and functions more efficiently. You are also freeing up valuable disk space. Archiving (available when an Archive database exists), can also free up valuable disk space while keeping the data accessible in future for historical/tax purposes. Automated File Purges allows ProStix to perform these housekeeping tasks for you. Access to the automated and manual system purge and archive programs is available through the following menu paths: Further information about Automatic Purges and System Backups
