When a production job is completed the following entries are made to the G/L: 1. Each component of the manufactured product: If the branch standard cost is zero then the program uses the product standard cost. 2. The SOH of each component is also reduced at this point. 3. The production qty (Work centre LM or EqA) is then used to calculate the labour & overheads: These costs are rolled in together with the component costs to give the line cost of the manufactured product in the sales order. 4.
