To store a copy of how much stock is on hand and the average costs at that point in time for the selected Branch and Product Group range, perform the following: 1. From the  ProStix   Main Menu  select  'Inventory Management'  then  'Stock Control'  then  'Stock   Take'  then  'Freeze Stock Quantities' . 2. The first screen prompts for the ranges to include in the freeze. Refer to the 'Freeze Stock Quantities' collapsible link for a screenshot and an explanation of these options: 3. If  'yes'  to continue is selected, the following message appears along the bottom of the screen:  'Freezing Stock Quantities and Average costs now ...'  4. Select <F4> (Exit) to go back to the Stock Take menu.
