The following should be considered when testing or training your staff about Disastert Recovery: Document the disaster recovery procedures as a best practice.  Record any problems encountered and their resolution and amend the procedures as appropriate.  Provide proper training of IT and operations personnel for implementation of the disaster recovery plan.  When a disaster or hardware failure does occur, planning rigor makes all the difference in the speed of recovery.  A completed disaster recovery plan for technology systems allows companies to realize large returns on a relatively small investment - minimizing what may otherwise be an unnecessary and costly outcome of disasters.
