> ℹ️ The following describes how Mighty Rewards customer earn points and also how those points translate back to a dollar value to redeem on future purchases (burn).
> ℹ️
> ℹ️ - **Earn Rate - **The Earn Rate refers to the rate at which the business allocates points to Mighty Rewards card holders. This is commonly set to 3 indicating a sale for $280 will earn the card holder 840 points. This earn rate is established with Mitre 10 during implementation and is not defined within ProStix. Mitre 10 maintain it within their own systems.
> ℹ️ - **Burn Rate - **The simplest way to think about the Burn Rate is that a point is always one cent, therefore a customer with 840 points has $8.40 to redeem on a future purchase.
