> ℹ️ After defining a stocktake (specifically after adding a name and description for the stocktake) Prostix prompts for the products to be added to the new card. There is a facility to 'mass add' by product code range, supplier, product group or bin location.

> ℹ️ Continuing on from the [Define Stocktake](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PROSTIXV48DOC/pages/31096930) process: 
> ℹ️ 
> ℹ️ 1. Enter *Yes* to mass add products to a new card. The steps below explain the process to mass add products & create stock cards. If you select *No* to the mass add option, then no stock card will be created & you will be required to manually add a stock card.

> ℹ️ :info:* Note*: If using a PDA, there is no requirement to mass add products to a card. The user simply selects the card number when entering the counted stock and the system adds the product to the selected stock card. Refer to section 'PDA Batch Stocktake' for further information.

> ℹ️ 2. For mass add of products where you require a stock card for each location, choose 'Break by' option **L** (Location). It is also possible to use the 'Break by' option by Product Group / Sub Group / Supplier. This will create multiple stock cards for each Product Group, Supplier or Sub Group. The default is to use product group (P).

> ℹ️ :info:* Please Note:* If Bin Locations exist in the Branch, 'L' (Location) is generally the preferred option. If Location is selected, enter down to the 'From Location' and 'To Location' & select the required Bin Location range (via **F3** if needed) for the products in the selected locations to be added to the stock card, then press **F1 Go**.

> ℹ️ *In the above example*, all products currently located in locations W01 will be added to a stock card & a stock card will be created.

> ℹ️ 3. Press **F1 Go** to accept. The Stock card is then displayed.

> ℹ️ 4. Press **F7 Review** to review the Stock card.

> ℹ️ 5. If required, press **F8 Mass Add** to mass add additional products to an existing stock card, then add the product ranges to the stock card via the **From** **Product** and **To Product** fields in the 'Add Products to Card' screen.
