Why   To produces a report of Aged Inventory and identify slow moving or obsolete stock by grouping stock to aged periods.  When Monthly The program ages the stock on hand into 6 age periods by reading through the stock receipts for the product in descending date sequence. If the system is using average cost then the unit cost is the average else it is the branch standard cost. The total cost is the sum of the unit cost x the stock on hand. How 1. From the  ProStix   Main Menu  select  'Inventory Management'  then  'Reporting'  then  'Stock Reports'  then  'Aged Inventory Report' . Input 2. The first screen prompts for the ranges to include in the report. Refer to the 'Aged Inventory Report' collapsible link for a screenshot and an explanation of these options. 3. You are prompted with your printing/viewing options.
