| Once all counts and checks have been preformed |
| From the ProStix main menu Select **Inventory Manangement - Stock Control -** **Stock take, **then select** Maintain Stock Takes** |
| Select your **Branch**. |
| Select your **Stocktake.** |
| Press <**F9**> to update the status of your stock take. |
| Type *Yes* to continue. The Status is now updated to ‘Counted’.. |
| Press **<F9> **to update the status of your stock take. |
| Type *Yes* to continue. The Status is now updated to ‘Validated’. |
| Press **<F9> **to update the status of your stock take. |
| Press **<F9> **to update the status to the final status of 'applied'. |
| Type *Yes* to continue & set the following fields:  
**Apply Nil Counts - **No  
**Override Costs - **No  
**GL Period - **Choose the GL period to post the stock take figures to. (0817 for August 2017)  
**Update Locations - **No |
