| From the ProStix main menu Select **Inventory Manangement - Stock Control -** **Stock take, **then select** Maintain Stock Takes** |
| Select your **Branch**. |
| Press <F6> to **Add** a new stock take. |
| Type a *new ****stock take**** name* (**no more than 6 characters**). |
| Type a **Description** of the stock take and press <Enter> |
| Type 'No*'* to the **Do you want to mass add products to a new card** question. |
| Press <F4> |
| The stocktake is now available for use with the PDAs |
