**Setting Purpose: **Defines the allowable Gross Profit Percentage (GP%) variance tolerance for Detailing Task Completion in Manufacturing.

Enter the desired GP% variance tolerance as a whole number in the **Value** field; the default is **0**, meaning any variance will require the operator to select a reason code and may enter a comment before completing the task.

> **Example:**
> If **GPVarTol **is set to **3** and the estimated GP% is 25%, the actual GP% can range from 22% to 28% without requiring a reason code. Any variance outside this range will prompt the operator to provide a reason.
