**Flag/Setting Purpose: **Yes to Search for Customers by Name  No by Number

- When enabled, and the flag **[RecSchNum](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FSS/pages/13177283)** is disabled, the customer listings on the dashboard and customer finders will be sorted and paged alphabetically by Customer Name.
- When disabled, the customer listings will be sorted and paged by the Customer Number, regardless of what the setting flag **[RecSchNum](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FSS/pages/13177283)** is set to.

> ℹ️ **Note:** If the flag **[RecSchNum](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FSS/pages/13177283)**** **is set to active, regardless of the setting of **RecSchNam**, the customer listings will be sorted and paged by Customer Number.
