**Flag Purpose:** Authorise if user has create special items as no

The **SopAuthSpc** flag controls whether the **Create Specials** user permission is enforced when creating Special Products in Sales Order Processing (SOP) or Point of Sale (POS).

- **When enabled,** the system checks the user's **Create Specials** permission in [User Maintenance](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28378032/User+Maintenance+Screen+-+Field+Definitions#Create-Specials). Users with **Create Specials** enabled can create Special Products without authorisation. Users with **Create Specials** disabled are prompted for authorisation before they can create a Special Product.
- **When disabled,** all users can create Special Products without authorisation regardless of their **Create Specials** setting in User Maintenance.

The **Create Specials** permission is configured per user in [User Maintenance](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28378032/User+Maintenance+Screen+-+Field+Definitions#Create-Specials) (**System Administration > Users & Security > User Maintenance**) under the Sales section.
