**Flag/Setting Purpose: **Save original Product code as alternate when renumbering

- **When enabled**, the original product code is retained as an alternate code during the renumbering   or product merge process. This ensures that the old product code remains accessible for reference and tracking purposes.
- **When disabled**, the original product code is not retained as an alternate code.
