**Flag/Setting Purpose: **Is wastage included in Std Unit Cost

> ℹ️ **Note:** This only applies in a **Standard **Costing Environment.

- When enabled, the **Landed Cost** and **Waste** fields on the **New Product** screen will be enabled. The **Standard Cost** field will be disabled. The **Landed Cost** and **Wastage** are used to determine the **Standard Cost** of the product.
- When disabled, the **Landed Cost **and **Waste** fields on the **New Product** screen will be disabled. The **Standard Cost **field will be enabled. Only the **Standard Cost** field is used to determine the cost of the product (wastage is not factored in) and the same value appears in the **Landed** **Cost** field.
