The **User Maintenance **dashboard screen allows you to view your Frameworks users. Within the [User Maintenance](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28378032) screen, you can define their security access and passwords, their default company, various limits and restrictions related to Sales, Purchasing and Receipting, Accounts Payables and Receivables, the General Ledger and other miscellaneous operations.

## Screen Access

To access the User Maintenance Dashboard, perform any of the following:

1. Click the **Frameworks** **Menu** and enter **User Maintenance** into the **Search** bar.
2. Click the **Frameworks Menu** and navigate to **System Administration **> **Users & Security > User Maintenance** from the navigation tree.

> ℹ️ The user list does not automatically load. It requires at least one search parameter before commencing a search of User IDs.

## Screen Structure

The **User Maintenance Dashboard **is made up of two main sections allowing you to search for, view and access user information.

1. The **Search Options**
2. The** Results Grid**

## Search Options

At the top of the **User Maintenance** dashboard user related totals are displayed. These totals include the number of **Licensed Users** allowed with your license, what type of **Licence Module** your Frameworks is (Concurrent or Named), the number of **Defined** **Users **(These are the currently created and active users), the number of** ****[PIN Only Users ](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28386162)**accounts that have been defined and the number of **Disabled Users** still defined in the system.

- Type the **User ID** you wish to modify then click **Find**. You can also leave the User ID field blank to return all users in the results section.
- The **Actions **menu provides additional maintenance options to **Import** user data and **Print** a list of users.

## Results Section

The **User Maintenance** results section is designed in this way to allow you to easily export a User ID list to Excel or [import a User ID list from Excel](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/fwksproau/pages/30509842). - Click on the **User ID** hyperlink to open the **User Maintenance** screen.
