# Overview

The **Pick Enquiry** screen provides you with a comprehensive view of the picking status for sales orders. This read-only screen allows you to monitor product picking progress, bundle allocations, and stock locations without accessing the full picking maintenance activities. The screen groups order lines by picking status and bundle identification to provide clear visibility of the picking process.

> ℹ️ The entire **Pick Enquiry** screen operates as a read-only interface, meaning no modifications can be made to order information, quantities, or picking status from this screen. you must access appropriate maintenance screens to make changes to orders or picking allocations.

# Accessing Pick Enquiry

To access the **Pick Enquiry** screen, perform one of the following methods:

> ⚠️ The **Picking Enquiry** screen requires **Frameworks Enterprise Picking** to be enabled and is only accessible for sales orders marked as **Entry Complete**. The screen remains available even after orders have been released and invoiced.

## Method 1: From Sales Order Maintenance

1. Click the **Frameworks** **Menu** and navigate to **Sales > Transaction Processing > Sales Orders** from the navigation tree.
2. Open an existing sales order that has been marked as **Entry Complete**.
3. Click **Actions** and select **Picking Enquiry** from the dropdown menu.

## Method 2: From Customer Transaction Enquiry

1. Click the **Frameworks** and navigate to **Receivables > Enquiries > Customer Transaction Enquiry** from the navigation tree.
2. Search for and open the desired customer transaction.
3. In the **Header** section, click the **Picking Enquiry** button.

# Navigating Pick Enquiry

The **Pick Enquiry** screen is made up of 2 main sections:

1. **The Header Information Section**
2. **The Product Lines Grid**

## 1. The Header Information Section

The header section presents essential information from the related sales order to provide context for the picking enquiry. It includes key details such as

- **Customer: **Displays the **Customer ID** and **Customer Name** for the sales order/quote.
- **Order Type: **Displays the **Transaction Type **of the order. Depending on if it is set to **Order **or **Quote **will determine which **Actions** are available.
- **Order Branch: **Displays the **Branch** the order or quote is linked too.
- **Despatch Method: ** Displays how the order will be delivered to the customer.
- **Date Required: **Displays the date by which the customer requires the order to be fulfilled.
- **Status**: Displays the current status of the sales order, such as Entry Complete, Date Not Confirmed, or Picking.

## 2. The Product Lines Grid

The product lines grid forms the primary content area of the **Pick Enquiry** screen and displays all ordered products organised by their picking status and bundle allocations.

### Grid Organisation

The grid uses a hierarchical grouping structure that organises product lines into the following categories:

- **BUNDLE [X]** - Groups containing products allocated to specific bundles during the picking process
- **PICKED BUT NO BUNDLE ALLOCATED** - Products that have been picked but not yet assigned to a bundle (when applicable)
- **NOT YET PICKED** - Products that remain unpicked

Each group displays as a full-width label with the relevant product lines appearing below in a standard grid format.

### Grid Columns

The product lines grid contains the following columns to provide comprehensive picking information:

**Line**

Displays the line number from the original sales order for easy reference and correlation with other order documentation.

**Product No.**

Displays the unique product code identifier for each ordered item.

**Product Desc.**

Displays the full product description to help you identify items during the picking process.

**Product Type**

Displays the standard product type classification for inventory management purposes.

---

**Branch Product Type**

Displays the branch-specific product type designation, which may differ from the standard product type based on local requirements.

---

**Qty Ordered**

Displays the total quantity of each product ordered by the customer, providing the baseline for picking requirements.

---

**UOM**

Displays the unit of measure for the product quantity, indicating how the item is counted, weighed, or measured.

---

**Length**

Displays the length specification for applicable products, particularly relevant for building materials and lumber items.

---

**Qty Picked**

Displays the quantity of each product that has been successfully picked from stock locations.

---

**Qty Not Picked**

Displays the remaining quantity of each product that still needs to be picked to fulfill the order.

---

**Stock on Hand**

Displays the current available stock quantity for each product at the time the enquiry is accessed.

**Linked Purchase Order** (no header)

Displays an icon indicator when the product line has been linked to a purchase order, using the same iconography as the standard Sales Orders screen.

**Bin Location**

Displays the warehouse bin or location identifier where the product is stored, assisting picking staff in locating items efficiently.

---

**Usage**

Displays the usage code associated with the product line, indicating the intended application or customer requirement for the item.

**Picking Group**

Displays the assigned picking group for the product line, which determines picking sequence and staff assignment.

---

**Picking Alert**

Displays any special alerts or notices related to the picking of this product line.

**Comments**

Displays any comments or notes associated with the product line that are relevant to the picking process.
