# Overview

The **Print Document Configuration** window in Frameworks determines how documents are processed and stored within the Frameworks system, allowing you to customise the output format and storage requirements for different business documents.

Here you can:

- Configure which document types will use XML-based formatting for their output. This affects how the document is structured and presented when generated.
- Enable or disable document storage capabilities for specific document types. When enabled, copies of these documents are retained in the system for future reference and retrieval.

# Accessing Print Document Configuration

Navigate to **System Administration > System Setup > Stationery & Reports > Print Document Configuration** to access this configuration window.
