# Overview

The **Send Price Label Information** (update) task creates a price label for products that have changed prices. It will make one file for each branch in the list.

> ⚠️ **Important: **Only products flagged as “Electronic Shelf Label” will be included.

# Updating price labels for products

To update price labels, perform the following:

1. Click **Frameworks Menu, **then navigate to **Inventory > Labels > Send Price Label Information **from the navigation tree.

2. On the **Report Criteria** tab, the following fields are available:
  - **All Branches: **Enable this checkbox to include all branches
  - **Branch List: **Enter the branch(es) to be included, separated by commas
  - **Stocked Only:** Enable this checkbox to extract stocked products; disable to extract both stocked and non-stocked products.
3. Go to the **Schedule** tab to schedule the task as required, and then click **Submit **to run the task.
4. Once submitted, the task creates a file for each branch on your list and sends this to the third-party electronic shelf label system (Handshow).

> ℹ️ **Note: **An ***.OK **file is also generated to confirms that the files have been successfully sent. The required files are saved in the **SMTP directories**.

> Example file name: UESLLBLXXXXXXXXXXYYMMDDHHMMSS.TXT
> 
> where:
> 
> - *U* = indicates an update extract
> - ESLLBL = constant text ("ESLLBL")
> - ​XXXXXXXX= 8-digit Store ID (from Pricer Store ID Maintenance / Hanshow Branch ID)
> - YYMMDD = date of file creation
> - HHMMSS= time of file creation
> - .TXT= file extension

If you run the task immediately, the **Output **tab displays the results of the completed task, and you can click on the reports generated. If run later, the [Task Scheduler Queue](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28405088/Scheduler+Administration#%5BinlineExtension%5DTask-Scheduler-Queue) contains the output.
