# Overview

This page defines key terms used throughout the Production Scheduling module. The terms are organised alphabetically for easy reference.

For a broader introduction to the module, see [About Production Scheduling](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28388314).

## Delivery On-Cost

Refers to recoveries for transport costs of manufactured goods.

## Detail On-Cost

The calculation is made by multiplying the nominated Detail On-Cost rate by the work centre quantity of a job. The Detail On-Cost is the recovery for detailing-related costs for manufactured goods, when they are manufactured in each plant.

## Factory Overhead

The calculation is made by multiplying the nominated Factory Overhead rate by the work centre quantity of a job. The Factory Overhead is the recovery for factory overhead costs for manufactured goods, when they are manufactured in each plant.

## Job Processing

Job Processing allows you to control jobs as a whole job while allowing you to assemble or produce the individual sections.

A job differs from a normal Sales Order in that:

- It can have multiple deliveries, each of which may have multiple sections.
- Each job/delivery is released as an individual Order, allowing parts of a job to be open while others are closed or invoiced.

## Labour On-Cost

The calculation is made by multiplying the nominated Labour rate by the work centre quantity of a job. The Labour On-Cost is the recovery for labour-related costs for manufactured goods, when they are manufactured in each plant.

## Labour Rate

Refers to the labour rate of production staff in each plant.

## Loading On-Cost

Refers to recoveries for transport costs of manufactured goods.

## MFG On-Cost

The calculation is made by multiplying the nominated Manufacturing On-Cost rate by the work centre quantity of a job. The MFG On-Cost is the recovery for manufacturing-related costs for manufactured goods, when they are manufactured in each plant.
