# Overview

The ETM System Parameters is where you setup the environment variables used by the ETM system to produce documents, transport those documents to their intended destination and to send the notification messages to the appropriate user.

> ℹ️ These settings are stored in a .xml file located in the path specified under **System Administration > System Tables > Miscellaneous Table Maintenance.** On the table **System Settings - General **against the Code **B2BMData.**

# <span style="color: #172b4d">Defining the ETM System Parameters</span>

To access and define the ETM System Parameters, perform the following:

1. Click **Frameworks **then navigate to **Electronic Trade > ETM System Parameters **from the navigation tree.
2. To update any of the **System Parameters** click on the **Value **field you want to adjust.

3. Click **Save **to commit any changes.
