# Overview

The **BOM Changes Reason Codes **miscellaneous table is used when the Bill of Materials for a Factory Works Order is changed in either Sales Order Processing or Factory Works Order Maintenance.

## Viewing BOM Changes Reason Codes

1. Click the Frameworks Menu, then enter** Miscellaneous Table Maintenance **(or select** Miscellaneous Table Maintenance** from within the **System Administration - System Tables **navigation tree).

2. Type *Reason Codes - BOM Changes Reason Codes *into the **Table:** field, then click **Find**.

3. A current list of the BOM Change reason codes are displayed.

## Creating BOM Changes Reason Codes

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu**. then enter** Miscellaneous Table Maintenance **(or select** Miscellaneous Table Maintenance** from within the **System Administration - System Tables **navigation tree).

2. Type *Reason Codes - BOM Changes Reason Codes *into the **Table:** field, then click **Find**.

3. Click **Add**.

4. Enter the *Company* to apply the reason code to into the **Company** field.

> ℹ️ A message is displayed if you do not have access to a particular Company *"You do not have access to Company nn"*.

5. Enter the *Reason Code* into the **Code** field.

6. Enter a *description for the Reason Code* into the **Description** field.

7. Click **Save**.

## Maintaining BOM Changes Reason Codes

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu**, then enter** Miscellaneous Table Maintenance **(or select** Miscellaneous Table Maintenance** from within the **System Administration - System Tables **navigation tree).

2. Type *Reason Codes - BOM Changes Reason Codes *into the **Table:** field, then click **Find**.

3. A current list of the BOM Change reason codes are displayed.

4. Select the Reason Code you would like to change.

5. Make your changes.

6. Click **Save**.
