# Overview

The **System - Re-order Cycle Codes **miscellaneous table is used to define the different cycles that are then used in stock re-ordering. For example, days of the week, weekly, monthly, etc.

Based on the frequency with which stock lines are ordered from a particular supplier, the stock lines are assigned an 'order cycle' as follows:

- 1: Items ordered on a weekly basis.
- 2-3: Items ordered according to a two-week cycle; '2' denoting the first week and '3' the second week of the cycle.
- 4-6: Items ordered according to a three-week cycle, '4' denoting the first week, '5' the intermediate week, and '6' the final week of the cycle.

## <span style="color: #003366">Viewing System - Re-order Cycle Codes</span>

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu**, then enter** Miscellaneous Table Maintenance **(or select** Miscellaneous Table Maintenance** from within the **System Administration - System Tables **navigation tree).

2. Enter S*ystem - Re-order Cycle Codes* into the **Table:** field, then click **Find**.

3. A current list of the re-order cycle codes are displayed.

## <span style="color: #003366">Creating System - Re-order Cycle Codes</span>

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu**, then enter** Miscellaneous Table Maintenance **(or select** Miscellaneous Table Maintenance** from within the **System Administration - System Tables **navigation tree).

2. Enter S*ystem - Re-order Cycle Codes* into the **Table:** field.

3. Click **Add** to add a new Re-order Cycle Code.

4. Enter the* company code* *to associate this new Re-order Cycle Code to* into the **Company** field.

5. Enter *a meaningful code* in the **Code** field.

6. Enter *a meaningful description* in the **Description **field.

7. Enter *the number of days* *for this cycle *into the **Days** field. For example, 7, 14, 28.

8. Enter *the day of the week to select in the Batch Re-Order report *into the **Batch Day** field.

9. Click **Save**.

## <span style="color: #003366">Maintaining System - Re-order Cycle Codes</span>

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu**, then enter**  Miscellaneous Table Maintenance **(or select** Miscellaneous Table Maintenance** from within the **System Administration - System Tables **navigation tree).

2. Enter S*ystem - Re-order Cycle Codes* into the **Table:** field.

3. Navigate your mouse to the Re-order Cycle Code you would like to update, then make the change/s.

4. Click **Save** to modify the Re-order Cycle Code.
