# Overview

The **Sales Order Reprice **utility allows you to  import a CSV file with a list of transaction numbers and reprice them to the current price. This mean that each product line is updated as if the lines were freshly entered, taking into consideration any current and newly created contracts, promotion pricing and repriced lines that were previously price overrides. 

> ℹ️ Products that are **Special Buy-ins** will always be exclude during this sales order reprice task.

> ℹ️ **Customer Number, Transaction number, suffix**. is the required format for the *.CSV file.

# Using the Sales Order Reprice

To access and import a list of sales orders and quote to be repriced, perform the following:

## 1. Navigate to Sales Order Reprice

Click **Frameworks **then navigate to **Sales > Utilities & Scheduled Tasks > Sale Order Reprice **from the navigation tree.

## 2. Upload the CSV file

1. Click **Upload CSV**.
2. In the **File Upload **window, click **Browse **to search for the file on your computer using the explorer window or **Drag and Drop** the file within the dotted outline.
3. The **File Name** section will display the name of the file to be attached. Click **Upload **to upload the file.

## 3. Confirm the processing options

1. **Report Only**

**Enabled by default. **Enable checkbox to produce a report only of the changes to be made without processing the changes themselves.

2. **Exclude Special Products**

**Disabled by default. **Enable checkbox to bypass all products that have been marked as a special product.

## 4. Schedule the Import

Click the **Schedule** tab. The scheduled task is defaulted to run **One Time** and is set to run at the *current system date and time*.

> ℹ️ If you are performing a large import you might want to delay the import to not impact performance. To do this update the **Start date** and **time** or use the date finder icon to search for an appropriate date and time to run the task.

## 5. Set your notifications

Select the task notification options to **send a notification** or **send an email** once the import has run.

## 6. Submit the Import task

Click **Submit **to import the .csv file. An information box will pop up advising that the task has been submitted. Click on **OK.**

## 7. View the Output

On the **Output** page, under the **Generated Reports** section, click on the **reports** links to review the import.

The output file will include the following information for each product line of the imported transactions: **Customer ID, Customer Name, Transaction Number, Suffix, Product, Cost Before, Sell Before, GP% Before, Cost After, Sell After, GP% After** and** Status. **

> ℹ️ Any transaction lines that have been bypassed by the repricing task will display the Status, **Bypassed - REASON**, for example, Bypassed - Special Product or Bypassed - Special Buyin.

> ℹ️ If the** Report Only** option was enabled and there were no errors in the generated report click **New **and repeat the above and disable the checkbox for **Report Only**.
> ℹ️ 
> ℹ️ If there were any errors in the generate report, resolve the errors before importing and possibly run the report only option until it is error-free.

### 8. Close the Screen

Click on the **Close **button in the bottom right to complete the task.
