<span style="color: #333333">When an </span>**<span style="color: #333333">Event </span>**<span style="color: #333333">is triggered in Frameworks an </span>**<span style="color: #333333">Email </span>**<span style="color: #333333">can be automatically created and sent to a customer or a specific user to follow up.</span>

This process explains how to create an email to be sent on an event being triggered.

> ⚠️ **<span style="color: #333333">Important: </span>**A valid **Sales Rep/User Email** address must be configured for all users to receive email notifications via Frameworks. This is defined under **[Users & Security](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28401722)**.

# How to Create an Email Action

To set up an automated email action, perform the following:

## 1. Subscribe to the Frameworks event

The first step to automating the sending of an email from within Frameworks is to subscribe to the required event so you can then add the **Email **action on the event is triggered. To do this perform the following:

## 2. Add an Email Action

Now that the event has been subscribed to you can add the **Email **action, to do this perform the following:
