# Overview

The **Sales Location Transfer** screen allows you to transfer products between various storage locations while keeping track of any related sales orders. This feature is particularly useful when space constraints prevent you from storing the entire quantity in one location.

# Accessing Sales Location Transfer

There are a number of ways for you to access the **Sales Location Transfer** screen. 

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu** and enter **Sales Location Transfer** into the **Search Box.**
2. Click the **Frameworks Menu **and navigate to **Inventory > Maintenance > Sales Location Transfer** from the navigation tree.

# Transferring Product to another location

This screen allows you to specify the product to be transferred from one location to another, identify the sales order associated with it, and determine the quantity of products to transfer.

1. To transfer products from one location to another, enter the following details:
  - **Branch: **Select a branch where the product is supplied from.
  - **Product: **Enter a product name or ID, or click the **Search** icon to find the product.
  - **GTIN: **Displays the Global Trade Item Number (GTIN) allocated to the product.
  - **Conversion Factor: **Displays the UOM Conversion Factor defined for the GTIN.
  - **From Location: **Enter the location where the products are currently stored before they are transferred, or click the **Search** icon to find the location.
  - **From Sales Order: **Enter the sales order number of the product to be transferred.
  - **B/O: **Specify the quantity of back orders for the product.
  - **Quantity: **Specify the quantity of the product to be transferred.
  - **Qty in Stocking UOM: **Displays the quantity of the products based on the stocking unit of measure (UOM) that will be transferred to the new location.
  - **SOH Before****: **Displays the Stock on Hand (SOH) available for the product at the **From Locations** before the transfer occurs.
  - **SOH After:**** **Displays the Stock on Hand (SOH) available for the product at the **From Locations** after the transfer occurs.
  - **To Location: **Enter the location where the products will be transferred to, or click the **Search** icon to find the location.
  - **To Sales Order: **Enter the sales order number where the product is to be transferred to.
  - **SOH Before****: **Displays the Stock on Hand (SOH) available for the product in the **To Locations** before the transfer occurs.
  - **SOH After: **Displays** **the Stock on Hand (SOH) available for the product in the **To Locations** after the transfer occurs.
2. Click **Save** to commit your changes.

# Verifying the Changes

There are 2 ways to check whether the changes have been applied. 

**Via the Product Dashboard**

1. Navigate to the **Product Dashboard, **then go to the** Branch Stock **tab and select the appropriate branch.
2. Go to **Locations** > **Location Control** tab.

**Via the Sales Order**

Open the sales order to see the changes.
