What are the setup considerations for the configuration of **Android Mobile** Device** **to use Frameworks mobile?

This document will outline of the most common considerations when configuring the **Android Mobile.** These considerations are related to access, usability and getting the most out of the screen space and the following should be considered:

- Display settings
- Keyboard settings

## Navigate to Settings

There are typically 2 ways you can access the **Setting** app:

1. **Swipe up** on the settings to view all the app on your device and press the **Settings **icon.
2. **Swipe down** and press the settings **cog** at the top of the screen.

## Adjust the Display Settings

To adjust the display settings, from the settings main page:

1. Press **Display.**
2. Select **Advanced.**
3. Adjust the following size settings:
  1. **Font Size** to be **Default**
  2. **Display Size** to be **Small.**
4. Go back to the settings main page.

## Adjust the Keyboard Settings

To adjust the keyboard setting, from the settings main page:

1. Navigate to the keyboard settings by selecting **System > Languages & Input > Virtual Keyboard > Gboard.**
2. Press **Preferences **and under the **Key **section and adjust the settings:
  1. **Number row** to be turned **On**
  2. **Show emoji switch key **to be turned **Off**
  3. **Show emojis in symbols keyboard** to be turned **Off**
3. Under the **Layout **section adjust the settings:
  1. **Keyboard height** to be **Extra short**
  2. **Emoji browsing suggestions** to be turned **Off**
4. Go back to the **Gboard Settings **and press **Advanced.** From the advanced options adjust the setting:
  1. **Emoji with the physical keyboard **to be turned **Off**
  2. **Show app icon** to be turned **Off**
