# <span style="color: #172b4d">Navigating the Pack Handling (Mobile) Screen</span>

Once you have opened the mobile pack handling screen, you can view and perform the following functions:

## 1. View Pack Information 

The top section of the screen allows you to view the current details of the selected pack. Press the **New Search **button to view the details of a different pack.

> ⚠️ You are NOT able to edit the header detail via the mobile pack handling module.

The information displayed is:

| **Field** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| **Pack Number** | Displays the pack number of the timber pack selected. |
| **Stocking Branch** | Displays the branch which will receipt the pack into stock. |
| **Pack Date** | Displays the date when:<br>- The pack was added to the system if added via [Timber Pack Creation](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28392246).
- The entered date when added via [Pack Maintenance](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28386692).
- The date the pack was receipted. |
| **Production** | Displays the production code that applies to the pack. The system stores the number of pieces that each production facility put into its packs. |
| **Pack Marks** | Displays the mark details to help you identify the particular pack. Some suppliers place identifying marks on a pack. |
| **Supplier Pack** | Displays the pack number from the supplier as it differs from the pack number that has been entered*.* |
| **Status** | Displays the status of the timber pack.<br>- **In Transit**: A newly added timber pack that has not been [Committed to Stock](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28386670).
- **Allocated**: If a timer pack has been allocated to a customer sales order
- **In Stock**: The timber pack has been added to stock
- **In Stock - Consign**: The timber pack has been added as [Purchasing Consignment Stock](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28384698).
- **Used**: If the timber pack has been sold, used or removed. |
| **Warehouse Location** | Displays the warehouse location where the timber pack is located. |
| **Cert Scheme** | Displays the information about the chain of custody certification. |
| **Cubic Metres** and **Lineal Metres** | Displays the overall UOM in both **lineal meters (LM)** and **cubic meters (M3)**. |

Additional to this information the pack product details are also displayed, this information includes:

- **Product Code:** Displays the product code/s for the timber in the pack.
- **Pieces: **Displays the total number of pieces for the timber in the pack.
- **Length: **Displays length of each piece of timber in the pack

> ℹ️ Packs can be created with random lengths in them. Each length will be displayed here.

## 2. Print Pack Labels

Click the **Print Pack Label **button to send a print job to the **Pack label **printer for the logged in user's branch.

## 3. Convert to Loose

Click the **Convert to Loose **button to convert the timber products within the pack into loose or individual lengths of timber.

> ⚠️ **Consignment** packs can NOT convert to loose.

## 4. Split Pack

Click the **Split Pack **button to split quantities from one pack and create a new pack that contains the end sections that have been removed from the existing pack.

> ⚠️ **Consignment** packs can NOT be split.

## 5. Dock Pack

Click the **Dock Pack **to dock lengths from one pack and create multiple new packs that contain the end sections that have been cut from the existing pack.

> ⚠️ **Consignment** packs can NOT be docked.

## 6. Move Pack

Click the **Move Pack **button to move a timber pack from one warehouse location to another.
