# Overview

The **Delivery Areas** system table allows you to define the branch related delivery arears and their delivery fees. These options are available via the **Delivery Area Lookup** finder, which is accessed by Sales Order Processing and Point of Sale

# Defining the Delivery Areas

To access and define you Deliver Area and Fees, perform the following:

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu** and navigate to **System Administration > System Setup > Transport Scheduling **from the navigation tree.
2. From here you can **Add, Update** and **Remove **the Delivery Area details by:
  1. To add a new delivery area, click **Add **and enter the following information.
    - **Line: **Enter a line number to help sort the list of delivery areas. This defines the order the delivery areas are displayed when listed. If no number is entered the next available number is added.
    - **Branch: **Enter the branch number where the delivery area and fees are available. Enter **0** to make the delivery area available at all branches.
    - **Delivery Area: **Enter a delivery area code to define the delivery area.
    - **Description: **Enter a description to better describe the delivery area and fee.
    - **Delivery Fee: **Enter the delivery fee amount (Gst Inclusive) to be charged when the delivery area is selected.
  2. To update any of the Delivery Area** **fields, click on the** **field you want to adjust and make the required changes.
  3. To remove a Delivery Area, select the **line **and click **Remove.**

> ⚠️ The **Line **and **Branch** fields can't be updated once the Delivery Area has been added.

3. Click **Save** to commit any changes.
