Before Timber Pack creation functionality can be used, the following system administration activities must be completed.

Refer to the following processes for further information:

# Frameworks Activities

Ensure the following activities are added to user security:

- <span style="color: #000000">TimberPackCreation</span>
- <span style="color: #000000">timberPackLabelSched</span>
- <span style="color: #000000">productPackView</span>
- <span style="color: #000000">timberPackSelectPopup</span>

# System Settings and Flags

From the Frameworks menu navigate to **System Administration > System Tables > Miscellaneous Table Maintenance **and then search for **System - Timber** and setup the information for the below tables:

## System - Timber Grade Codes

In this table you can add the **Company** the grade is for the timber **Grade **and a **Description.**

## System - Timber Length Codes

In this table you can add the **Company** the timber lengths are for and the length **code **(01200 = 1.2m)

> ℹ️ These settings are used in [Pack Maintenance](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28386692) and is recommended but not a required for Timber Pack Creation.

In this table you can add the **Company **the <span style="color: #333333">production facility belongs to plus the </span><span style="color: #333333">**Code and Description **</span><span style="color: #333333">of the production facility where the timber packs are being created.</span>

> ℹ️ These settings are recommended but not a required for Timber Pack Creation.

In this table to can add the **Company** the timber sizes are for as well as the **Code, Description **and **Value**

## System - Timber Spec Codes

In this table to can add the **Company** the timber species information is for as well as the species **Codes** and a **Description**

<span style="color: #172b4d">Other System Settings - Flags:</span>

From the hamburger menu navigate to **System Administration > System Tables > Miscellaneous Table Maintenance** and then search for **System Settings - Flags**. In the filter section type **timval** to find the system flag.

The system flag **timval **purpose is for the Timber length validation by product. When ticked, > Macro (inline-media-image)

 timber pack creation will use the values as defined against each products. If unticked, it will use the values defined in **Miscellaneous Table Maintenance - 'System - Timber Length Codes**

# Branch Configuration

The Branch drop down in **Timber Pack Creation** dashboard only lists branches that are **manufacturing** branches. To set this up navigate to **System Administration > System Tables > Branch Maintenance **and scroll to the box **Manufacturing Branch?**

# User Configuration

Only users which have **Mill Operator** enabled, under **User Maintenance **will be selectable in the timber pack creation dashboard. To set this up navigate to **System Administration > System Tables > User Maintenance **and under the **Misc **section tick **Mill Operator**

# Product Maintenance 

For a timber product to be available via the [Timber Pack Creation](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28392246) the product needs to be setup as a Tally product. This is done via the **Product Maintenance **screen on the **Timber / Sheet information **page by ticking the **Length Tally **box. Further timber information, such as the timber **Width, Depth, Cubic Volume, Surface Area (m2), Unit weight, Species, Timber Grade, Finish** and other details can also be added here. Once the timber information has been added run the [Create Timber Product Search Records](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28401960) task to add the product to the [Timber Pack Creation](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28392246) screen.

# Scheduled Task
