<span style="color: #333333">The</span>** Notification Event Queue Processor Control **<span style="color: #333333">is used to switch on and off the event processing. All events in the </span><span style="color: #333333">[Notifications Event ](https://sterlandsupport.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FRAM/pages/28405170)</span><span style="color: #333333">Queue will not be processed if the Notification Event Queue Processor Control is off, so this </span><span style="color: #333333">**MUST BE RUNNING.**</span>

# <span style="color: #003366">Accessing the Notifications Event Queue Processor Control</span>

<span style="color: #333333">To access, stop, and start the Notifications Event Queue Processor Control, perform the following:</span>

1. Click the **Frameworks Menu**, then navigate to **System Administration > Event Notifications > Setup & Administration > Notifications Event Queue Processor Control **from the navigation tree.

2. To **stop **event processing, click **Stop Event Processor**.
3. Click **Check Status**; the event processing status should be **STOPPED**
4. To **start **event processing, click **Start Event Processor**.
5. Click C**heck Status**; the event processing status should be **RUNNING**.
